Description
Vacuum rollers are the ideal solution when the web is not suitable for double-sided contact and a nip roller design cannot be used. They can be installed in front of the air flotation oven (a device suitable for double-sided coating of webs) and are an excellent tension isolation and control point. The vacuum rollers use vacuum to suck the web tightly against the cylinder, increase friction and prevent the web from slipping. In addition, the outer surface of the vacuum roller is a smooth, ultra-fine, seamless metal nickel wire mesh. Even with the most fragile coating materials, the vacuum roller can always firmly suck the entire web without damaging it.
