The universal cylindrical grinder is a grinder for the outer surface and shoulder end surface of cylindrical, conical or other shapes. The workpiece is supported between the two centers of the headstock and the tailstock, and is driven by the dial of the headstock to rotate and perform circular feed motion. The headstock and the tailstock are mounted on the workbench and can perform longitudinal reciprocating feed motion (see machine tools). The workbench is divided into upper and lower layers, and the upper workbench can be adjusted to a small angle to grind conical surfaces.
