Three-Phase Three-Wire Active Filter (3P3L APF) – 3D Model SolidWorks
Active Power Filter (APF) is a new type of power electronic device used to dynamically suppress harmonics and compensate for reactive power. It can compensate for harmonics of varying magnitude and frequency as well as varying reactive power. The reason why active filters are called active is that, as the name implies, the device needs to provide power (to compensate for the harmonics of the main circuit). Its application can overcome the shortcomings of traditional harmonic suppression and reactive power compensation methods such as LC filters (traditional methods can only provide fixed compensation), realize dynamic tracking compensation, and can compensate for both harmonics and reactive power. In the power system, there are not only three-phase four-wire systems, namely a, b, c three phases, plus a neutral line, but also three-phase three-wire systems. The three lines represent a, b, c three phases respectively, and there is no neutral line, so it is called a three-phase three-wire system. Our active filter is an active filter designed for a three-phase three-wire system for power systems. The drawings were designed using SolidWorks2016 software, and the drawings also include step format.
