A buffer room set up to maintain the air cleanliness and positive pressure control in the clean room. The airlock is usually set up between two identical clean areas with different cleanliness, or between a clean area and a non-clean area. The airlock has two doors that cannot be opened at the same time. Its purpose is to isolate the air of two different clean environments, prevent polluted air from entering the clean area, and prevent cross contamination. Airlocks can be divided into air supply and non-air supply. Airlocks in biological clean rooms with strict requirements all have purified air conditioning for air supply.
