GNSS-R is a new remote sensing method with low cost, low power consumption and relatively high temporal and spatial resolution that uses the reflected signal of the navigation satellite to remotely sense the sea or land surface. In terms of mechanism, GNSS-R is a dual-station radar. Based on the microwave electromagnetic scattering model, the scattering characteristics of bare soil and vegetation are theoretically simulated for right-hand circular polarization transmission, right-hand circular polarization (RHCP), left-hand circular polarization (LHCP), H polarization and V polarization reception.
