Assembly refers to the process of combining several parts of a product by means of tight fitting, snap-fitting, threaded connection, bonding, riveting, welding, etc. to obtain a finished product (semi-finished product) that meets the predetermined dimensional accuracy and function. Strictly speaking, assembly achieved by manual handling (contact, sorting, grabbing, moving, placing, applying force, etc.) of each part can only be called manual assembly. Assembly that does not require manual handling (contact, sorting, grabbing, moving, placing, etc.) of parts can be called automatic assembly. Semi-automatic assembly is in between.
