Gearbox Model Design – 3D Model SolidWorks UG(NX)
The gear ratio of the spur gear and the gearbox is 7:1. The gears of the gearbox often work at high speed, high load, and the speed and load are constantly changing. In addition to normal wear, the gears will also be damaged by the quality of lubricating oil, poor lubrication conditions, improper driving operation, improper position of gear assembly during maintenance, etc., which will cause gear impact, poor gear teeth engagement, and start-up jitter, which will accelerate the wear and damage of the gears. Gears rely on their own structural dimensions and material strength to withstand external loads, which requires the material to have high strength, toughness and wear resistance; due to the complex shape of the gears, the gear precision requirements are high, and the material processability is also required. The commonly used material for transmission gears is forged steel.
