The coconut picker is a device that integrates the functions of tree climbing and picking. It is mainly composed of three parts: a clamping mechanism, a climbing mechanism and a picking mechanism. The clamping mechanism plays the role of fixing the machine on the tree trunk. Two rows of sliding bars are arranged on the inner side. The sliding bars are installed at a certain angle, which helps to reduce the resistance encountered when climbing or turning. The climbing mechanism is equipped with four climbing rods. One end of the climbing rod is equipped with a motor for driving, and the other end is equipped with an electromagnet or a semicircular fastening device of ferromagnetic material. The strength of the electromagnet magnetism is controlled by controlling the magnitude of the current, so that the ferromagnetic material is adsorbed and clamped to the tree trunk, and then the climbing rod is driven by the motor to climb, which changes the way traditional tree climbing robots climb trees. In addition, considering that the diameters of tree trunks are different, a pressure plate with a sensor is arranged on the inner side of the semicircular fastening device to further fasten the tree trunk and prevent slipping. The outer side of the semicircular fastening device is provided with a sliding guide rail to solve the steering problem.
